How is a creator nominated for a Cheer Choice Award?
Creators are nominated solely by their peers or by themselves and may be nominated for an award if they meet the initial nomination criteria. Initial vetting of all the nominees takes place by the volunteer vetting committee. Not all nominees will be accepted if they do not meet the criteria.
How does voting work?

Public voting begins immediately after the nomination period. Votes may be submitted by anyone on or off social media. There is an option to submit daily votes up to the daily max amount or vote by donating. 100% of all donations brought in by votes go directly to charity. Nominees may NOT vote for themselves. The initial voting round is called the preliminary round. The preliminary round allows for further vetting of the nominees to take place. For further details regarding this, you may refer to our terms and conditions. Votes and ranks are reset after the end of each round. During the last 24 hours of each round, the leaderboard will be turned off to verify accuracy and tabulation of votes and ensure equal opportunity prior to the rounds end. Nominees who move through to the next round will be displayed on the voting site at the start of the next round. The voting schedule for the 2023 Cheer Choice Awards is as follows:
